Tangerine Dream Hyperborea Vinyl

I have to say that this is a fine album and along with tangram 1980 is certainly one of the better albums released by tangerine dream during the 1980s.

Hyperborea 1983 would prove to be the last tangerine dream album released on the virgin records label and the mood throughout is contemplative. It is perhaps this that makes it somewhat forgotten yet it is this that makes it my favourite album of theirs. Pilots of the purple twilight. Virgin v2292 virgin 205 801 format.

There exists another version identical in almost every way but with a mould sid code on the matrix hub pointing to a post 1993 reissue repress. Virgin vil 6091 format. Even reflective at times. Hyperborea was the last album that tangerine dream made on the virgin label after a near ten year association and to be fair lots of success.
